*Graduation Performance- I have put together a program for the Kindergarten Graduation. Please look over your child’s part and help them memorize their line/lines. There is NO GUARANTEE that they will say their actual line/lines in the performance. We only have a limited amount of time to perform and I’m uncertain right now of how long my original performance will take. If it is too long, I will have to cut out speaking parts, however, each child WILL be performing songs and chants. Thank you for your understanding.

*Two More Weeks Left!- For the next two weeks we will be practicing for our Graduation Performance. Academics will be light! We will work hard to finish our Rainbow Sight Words. There will be no more memory verses to memorize and no more sharing.

*Left Over Work- Work that we did not get to this year will be sent home in a packet. This is a great way to refresh your child’s memory during the summer. Please read with your child regularly during the summer!

*Summer Work- I strongly suggest that you buy a booklet to practice with your child over the summer to prepare them for 1st grade. They have learned and gained so much knowledge this year and I don’t want it to all be forgotten this summer! These books are available at any education store. You can try Lakeshore or the Education Station.

*5th Week Progress Reports- Progress reports should be mailed home this week!

*Pictures!!!!!- Please email your pictures to manders_t@hotmail.com

Math: We are moving on from addition and subtraction and this week we will be counting and writing numbers 11-30.

Handwriting: We will practice all of the cursive letters that we have learned thus far and we will learn to write the capital Zz.
What’s Going On?
SAT Testing- We are DONE with testing. It was a long process, but I’m SO PROUD of the students. Since we are a large class and they have never tested before, we tested all of the way up to Friday!
El Capitan- THANK YOU to all of the parents who helped out on our last field trip. It was a success and everyone enjoyed seeing God’s creation.
Kindergarten Graduation- Friday, May 21st from 9:00AM-11:00AM in G135 and outside by the Chapel.
More information to follow! Your child will have a part in our performance. They will receive their part to memorize by the end of this week!
Kindergarten Slideshow- We would like to put together a slideshow of our Kindergarten year for the K Graduation. If you have pictures of the kids that you have taken at school events (programs, field trips, Birthdays, etc.) please email them to Miss Taylor at
manders_t@hotmail.com
(note the underscore between manders and t= manders_t)
Please send them in ASAP!
Spring Picture Day- Friday, May 7th. A flyer will be sent home today.

Progress Reports- The 5th week progress report will be sent home next week. This Friday is the last day of the 5th week. We only have 7 weeks in this last Kindergarten quarter.

Rainbow Sight Words- Three more weeks for your child to finish all of the sight words!
Thank you for your diligent efforts to train up your child in the ways of the Lord. It’s a joy to have your child in class and I’m so encouraged to see growth. All praise be to the Lord for what HE has done this year!
