Dear Parents,

We will be remembering the first Thanksgiving by having our own feast! Please plan on joining us for our feast. We will be celebrating the last Thursday before our Thanksgiving Break, Thursday, November 19th. The feast will last from 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m. (American Heritage Day is scheduled for that Friday, so we cannot have our feast on that day).
We will be dressed up as Pilgrims and American Indians. You do not have to dress the part unless you want to. Starting next week, a food sign-up sheet will be with me after school each day. If you are unable to pick-up and would still like to participate, please email me at bnenadov@gracechurch.org .

Sharing is Caring

Next week we will begin sharing things in class. Here is the catch. Your child must bring in something to share that starts with the letter of the week. If it is a vowel, it must be a short vowel sound. We have not learned about long vowels yet. Your child DOES NOT have to bring in things to share! If they choose to, they will only be allowed to share on their specific day. (If the weekly letter is a vowel, they may share an item that has the vowel in it. If it is a consonant, the item that they are sharing must start with the consonant. Some exceptions may apply). J

Red Row- Mondays
Orange Row- Tuesdays
Yellow Row- Wednesday
Green Row- Thursday
Blue and Purple Rows- Friday

All items MUST be kept in your child’s backpack until it is time to share. Check the blog to see which letter we are sharing each week!
